My Grandfather ultimately died of Alzheimer's, so it makes me really aware of what I do now so that I can avoid the same tragic end. It is so hard to watch such a strong person die of such a terrible disease.

Alzheimer's is one of those things where you just don't know when, how or if it's going to strike. There are signs and things to look for. When I was taking care of a loved one that seemed to be exhibiting some of the commonly-known symptoms, I decided to do some research. I actually came upon the Sunrise Senior Living website (http://www.sunriseseniorliving). They had a whole page devoted to Alzheimer?s Care and Information. I definitely think it's worth a read, especially if you or someone you know is concerned.
